With the holidays fast approaching hopefully you have started on your gift shopping. Do you plan to give handmade items as gifts this year? I think that handmade items are more personal whether you made them yourself or bought them.
Here is a list that I have compiled of my favorite FREE Angel Crochet Patterns that I have found online. These patterns are from blogs, Ravelry and free crochet pattern websites. All of these items would make wonderful gifts!
This angel would make a beautiful ornament for your tree or if you can make her small enough add her to a keychain!
2. Angel “Noelle” Ornament from the Panda Crochet Blog
The owner of this pattern doesn’t want the picture posted and the link above will take you to their main list of free patterns. Just look for the Angel Ornament for the pattern. It is a very simple and easy pattern using #10 Crochet Cotton Thread.
This tiny angel is also made with #1 Crochet Cotton Thread. It is tiny enough that you can add it to your Holiday Cards as shown in the picture below. You can tie it onto your gifts as a little favor. I think it would look great made into a pin that you can wear as well.
4. Christmas Tree Angel by Grace McMahon on Ravelry
This Angel tree-topper is crocheted with worsted weight yarn. The pattern is very detailed and easy to follow. I love the hair!
This gorgeous afghan could easily turn into a family heirloom and would make a wonderful holiday gift. It is crocheted in squares with worsted weight yarn using an I hook. Each square measures approximately 8.5 inches. The finished size of the afghan is 52″ by 66″ with 48 squares.
6. Angel Dishcloth Pattern from CraftTown.com
For this cute project you will need cotton worsted weight yarn, a 2″ plastic ring and a G hook. They look like they work up pretty quickly.
7. Quick and Easy Christmas Ornament by Roswitha Mueller on Ravelry
These little angels are quite adorable. It is made with tiny amounts of yarn so this would be a good way to get rid off all your yarn scraps leftover from other projects.

This pattern uses #10 Cotton Crochet Thread. The finished size is 2″ wide by 5 3/4″ tall.
This cute little angel is worked up with worsted weight yarn. It uses such little yarn it would be another project to do to get rid of your yarn scraps. Very cute and you can embellish as you like.
10. Angel Ornament by Phyllis Serbes on Ravelry
This angel is crocheted with DK or Light weight yarn (3) and a D hook. Finished angel measures 5″ tall and 4″ wide.
