I am about to become a Midwesterner! My company offered me a position in a small town outside of Omaha, Nebraska, and being twenty-eight and unattached, and adventurous, I went for it. I figure if it is earns me one more rung on the climb up the ladder of success, I have nothing to lose. I have been to this quaint little town several times on company business and it really is not a long drive into the city for night life and shopping. I like the idea, actually, of not having to drive in big city traffic for an hour to get to my office. My commute here will be less than twenty minutes. I flew out there two weeks ago and met with a really fun and sweet realtor, who spent two days showing me around town and different residential areas. I think I am going to start with a condo in a great area for young adults, with neighborhood pubs and eateries. While the crime rate here is almost zero, I will still feel better having ADT Security Dorr install a security system before I arrive for permanent residence.
I was financially compensated for this post.
