Referred Media is a website that can help you to monetize your blog or website. You can view all of their available campaigns and choose which ones you would like to promote on your website. There are 2 different types of campaigns and when viewing the available campaigns it will clearly show what type it is.
Click Campaigns – You will get paid for every unique click that comes from your website.
Lead Campaigns – You will get paid for an action that a user completes. For example, you will get paid each time someone subscribes for a newsletter, fills out a survey or likes a FB page.
Each campaign will either use real-time tracking (where you will see your statistics in real-time) or import tracking (where the statistics are usually delayed and provided by a 3rd party or the advertiser themselves).
I just signed up with Referred Media this year and so far I have done quite well. I am not a big fan of affiliate programs because I haven’t had much luck with them in the past. Referred Media offers campaigns from advertisers that I actually like and am willing to promote on my blog (no make money quick companies…I hate that!).
These are the 2 campaigns that I am presently promoting:
I am doing very well promoting these 2 campaigns. Referred Media’s website is very easy to use and I have no problem finding campaigns, promoting them and seeing my statistics and exactly how much I have earned. I find their website much easier to navigate and use than other affiliate programs where everything is very confusing. If you have thought about monetizing your website or blog, I think you should give Referred Media a try! Click the link below to get started.

I’ll give it a look. Have you actually made anything from this one yet?
I have made some revenue from this one already and I just started it last week. I haven’t been promoting as much as I would like but seeing that I have already made some money with it is pretty great!
Thank you for the info. I have been wanting to look into monetizing my blog, which is fairly new. I don’t really have the full understanding of it and do not want to jump into something that won’t really work for me. Any suggestions for someone just starting out?
I am not sure what suggestions I can offer you. I have been doing this for a little over a year and what tried many different affiliate programs. The easiest way to monetize your blog is with paid or sponsored posts. If you look on my sidebar there are links to SocialSpark and Blogsvertise which has these offers. If you are on Twitter Sponsored Tweets and Mylikes will pay you to tweet (well not necessarily, they will pay you each time someone clicks on the link in your tweet). As far as the affiliate programs go…you get paid each time someone clicks on a link or fills out a form with their information. I have tried over 10 different companies only to find out that I didn’t like their website or the deals didn’t even apply to the topics on my blog. I think it really is a hit or miss. You need to try it for yourself to see if it something you like or not. I would say to make sure and check their payment policy. You want to get paid!
Also, I would stay away from affiliate programs offered by companies selling items. Like for example, Company ABC makes sells Product Z. You promote their item and get paid each time someone buys it. It is very hard to make money that way especially if you don’t have a large following yet. At least with affiliate programs like Referred Media…you have the option of many different programs not just 1 product to sell.
If you have any other questions or want to ask me about a specific company you are looking into, feel free to email me at aprile@thesteadyhandblog.com. Thanks!
Thanks for the information! How do you personally promote your campaigns? Do you just put their ad on your site like adsense? I am new to blogging and need all the help I can get.
With Referred Media I blog about the offers using my personalized links. I sometimes post them on FB and twitter too.
Thanks for the tips! I am not quite at the point where I can blog about offers but I will def try it in the future.
Anytime Krystle!
