In November we purchased a very cool looking Gingerbread Carousel Kit. I am not a fan of gingerbread kits but each year my husband sees one and says let’s do it! The last couple years have ended pretty badly with the unfinished kits going in the trash. I figure, eventually, we will get a kit that actually comes together. This year was not that year!
We started off pretty good.
But once we got to where the top went on and the candy sticks were put in place it all went downhill. The candy sticks were not tall enough

Last month when my in-laws came to visit we all went to see ICE featuring Frosty the Snowman at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, TN. This was something that I had heard of before but none of us had ever been to or seen. We purchased our tickets over the phone the day before. If you are a Marriott Rewards member you get a discount.
I was prepared for our visit and I think I scared my husband’s parents because I was running around the house making sure that I had everything we needed. It was going to be

All the Christmas decorations are finally up. We love Christmas and we have so much stuff that it takes us a couple of weeks to get everything set out. Here are pictures of just some of my favorite decorations:
Our Christmas Village is amazing. My husband sets it up in front of the fireplace. The houses and building all light up. It looks pretty cool at night!
Our Santa Collection is pretty large and these are not small guys. Our tallest Santa is almost as tall as I am!
This little guy is

Let me just start this post by saying that the pictures below are not of my vehicle. We don’t even own a truck. I don’t know who owns this vehicle. Don’t worry though because their license plate is not visible so no one can track them down or anything.
It took me a while to figure out what to call this post. I ended up just stating the obvious because I could not come up with a funny tagline.
We saw this truck as we were leaving the Opry Mills Mall in Nashville. There is Bass Pro Shops store connected

Last month my daughter turned 5 years old! My little-big girl is growing up. Since we just moved to TN and don’t know many people yet we threw her a little party and the Grandparents flew in to join us. We purchased all of our supplies at Party City. They literally have everything you need to throw a great party. The Grandparents took her for a short drive so that my husband and I could set up all the decorations and get everything laid out. When they got back she walked into this:
We didn’t have any small tables

In 2011 we vacationed to Nashville, TN and I wrote blog posts about what we did each day. Here is Nashville Vacation – Day 4 so you can read it. Scroll down to the last paragraph. Just in case you don’t want to open a new window I have copied it below:
For dinner, we decided to try Hanabi Japanese Restaurant. It was located in the center right next to the hotel. This place was AMAZING! I ordered the Japanese Style Shoyu Ramen and it was probably the best I have had since leaving Hawaii. We also ordered

I am super excited to finally share with you the finished pictures of my new craft room. When we moved into our home in TN I immediately picked the room facing the front of the house as my craft room. My husband then got to work and started drawing up plans trying to figure out how the room would be laid out. My new craft room is more of a rectangle compared to my last room that was square.
Here is a picture of my old craft room:
We used ClosetMaid products for most of the room. The two

My family and I visited the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga, TN. Chattanooga is a 2 hour drive from Murfreesboro, TN. While we were there we also visited GardenRidge because that was the closest location to us as well. If you haven’t been to a GardenRidge before you definitely need to check it out. Totally worth the 2 hour drive!
Anyway the TN Aquarium is huge! It is 2 separate buildings with lots to see. We went into the Ocean Journey building first. In Ocean Journey we saw penguins, sharks and even butterflies. The other building is called the River Journey

When we moved to Tennessee we had many issues with our movers. So much so that we didn’t get our furniture back until 12 days after they picked it up! During this time we had to find my daughter a preschool so that we could get her out of the house. There was nothing for her to do in our new home since we didn’t have any of our belongings. The weather was cooling down so we couldn’t spend a lot of time outdoors.
We immediately looked at all the preschools and day cares in our area. We wanted to
