Bloggers seem to be everywhere and now they are in videos and “movies” too! Check out this very funny short video called Connecting Flights:
Did you have a good laugh? I did. Wouldn’t this make a great movie? Although I must admit it did seem a little too cheesy for me. What did you think?
My family travels quite often. My husband travels for work and we go on vacations about 2 to 3 times a year. This past summer we went to Florida to take our daughter to Disney World. It was a great trip overall but Disney World was kind of a let down.
The airport, to me, always feels like a strange place. It smells different, everything is always so clean and shiny and the bathrooms are always being cleaned when you really need to go. It could almost be a little city by itself.
While we were at DFW airport to catch our flight to Orlando, FL I happened to come across someone that I went to high school with. Of all places to just bump into someone from your past the airport doesn’t seem like a likely place but it happened to me. Of course, the last time I saw this person was probably at high school graduation, although I can’t quite remember exactly. Now I see them and I am 9 years older, married and I have a 3-year-old daughter. My how times have changed. Lets just say that when this person knew me I was a very different person. I was against marriage and would never have thought of having children.
Once our eyes locked I knew that I wouldn’t be able to avoid them. I greeted them and introduced them to my family. We exchanged phone numbers and went our separate ways. You could see in their eyes that they were trying very hard not to ask all the questions they had in mind. It almost feels like when we knew each other it was a lifetime ago. Things were so different!
Thanks to Sears for sharing the video with us!
Have you ever had that awkward moment where you run into someone from your past? Or what weird and funny situations have you experienced in an airport?
