With summer comes summer vacations. We are planning a couple ourselves so I have started searching for some travel items for my daughter. I found some awesome products that I just wanted to share and see if anyone else was using them before we made our buy.

Magmatic is the name of the design company and all their items are sold under their Trunki brand. I haven’t seen items like these before and I have to tell you. I love them all! Melissa & Doug are their USA distributors so you can buy them online at Melissa & Doug’s website or at some locations where Melissa & Doug items are sold. Today we hit Buy Buy Baby and Toys R’ Us in Hurst, TX to see if they carried these items in stock but they didn’t. So we may have to buy them online if we decide to get them.

The first items that I fell in love with is the Trunki.

Just look at how much you can stuff in there.

And check this out!

How is cool is that? I can totally see my daughter riding on that while we wheel her through the airport. It would be a great way to hold all the stuff you need on the plane as well as cart around your kid. The Trunki is the perfect size to store overhead. I don’t know if it can fit under a plane seat. If anyone knows, please share in the comments.

Some of the other items I thought were neat:

– The Trunki Saddlebag: a shoulder bag that doubles as a saddlebag to fit over the Trunki. There is a horn squeaker and a padded seat cushion as well as storage compartments inside and out.

– The BoostApak: a backpack that doubles as a booster seat. Perfect for traveling! You can store items in the backpack when not using it as a booster seat.

– The Teddy Tee: this is just too cute. They have one for boys and girls. A tee-shirt with a front zippered pouch to hold their favorite lovey or toys.

– GoVinci: Last but not least is the essential travel item. “Big enough to carry day-to-day essentials whilst doubling up as a practical, wipe-clean drawing table, ideal for families on the go! Keeping your child entertained, whether it’s a quick trip to the supermarket, family holiday or just staying at home. GoVinci has a clear frame designed to display your child’s artwork. To add drawings simply undo the two top corners of the frame and slide in your tot’s colourful creation.” I really want one!!!!

If you have any of these items, let me know how they work for you. Do you know of any other really cool travel items for kids? Let me know!
