Crochet – Crocodile Stitch Hood

My new crochet love is the Crocodile Stitch. I am sure I have mentioned it before on here as I have made wristwarmers and some hats with it already. This is the 2nd croc stitch hood that I have made but I don’t think I showed pictures of the 1st one. This hood was crocheted for a friend who also loves this stitch.

I bought the pattern for the hood from the Bonita Patterns Etsy shop. I have bought all her patterns so if you are interested in any of her items just let me know! Now onto the pictures…

The yarn I used is LB1878 yarn. It is a superfine/fingering weight yarn made of wool. It is very easy to work with but because it is so small a project like this took me a couple weeks to finish. The end result was worth it though!

The weight of this yarn makes the hood very lightweight but warm at the same time.

The hood can be worn down to be used as a cowl.

Personally, I like the hood up! What do you think?
