I have decided that instead of doing numerous posts each month about the new crochet patterns that I have come across…I will instead just do one each month. This will probably make the posts a little bit longer but it will be easier for me to keep track of the patterns that I have already posted about so that I am not mentioning the same ones over and over. All right so here we go!
Blossom Necklace by Shelby Allaho
I really like this simple necklace pattern. I found it while browsing on Ravelry. It is a FREE download. On the Blossom Necklace pattern page there is a link to a FREE pattern for a matching pair of earrings too.
Tweedy Owl Hat by Breanna Steidley
Isn’t this adorable! I love the little pom-poms on each side. This is another FREE download on Ravelry. It comes in multiple sizes: Newborn, 0-6 months, 6-9 months and 9-12 months. Who has a baby? I need to make this!
Shell Stitch Beanie by The Dainty Daisy
This is a FREE pattern available on The Dainty Daisy Blog. You can sell the items that you make with this pattern. It comes in multiple sizes: 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12 months – 3 years and 3-10 years. There is a link on that page to the Flower Pattern as well but the link was not working the last time I checked.
Pretty Puffs Slouchy Hat by Jessica Suzanne
I like the detail on this slouch hat. The puffs give it a little more texture so it doesn’t just hang there. This pattern I found on Craftser.org in the forums of all places. Be sure to check that site out…pretty neat. Oh and yes, it is a FREE pattern.
Visor Beanie Pattern by Suzanne Steiger
This is a very simple yet stylish hat. I have always loved the visor beanie and have even sold some in my Etsy shop. This FREE pattern is from the Suzanne Steiger Website. It is available to download in PDF as well. It is crocheted with Worsted Weight yarn and comes in Adult Size only. There are 2 other FREE patterns available on her website that you can download so check those out.
All right, those are my 5 picks for April…I hope to complete these projects by the end of the April and will let you know in my end-of-month project recap. Yeah that is new too. To limit my posts I will do one in the beginning of the month with the projects that I would like to try and one at the end of the month with all the projects I completed. It is easier for me and I won’t be writing up posts everyday. I hope you like the new way I am doing this and if you have any suggestions, just let me know.
Have you come across any new patterns? What will you be working on this month?
