Crochet Placemats

While searching for some new patterns to try out on Ravelry, I came across Deborah B. She has many different crochet patterns on there that I have saved to try out later. I gave her free pattern, Circle Placemats, a try. Here is how they turned out:

The instructions were very easy and these placemats worked up very quickly. I didn’t have enough yarn to finish up the 2nd placemat so it is a little smaller. The 1st one measures 12.5″ wide and the 2nd one is 10.5″ wide. Bother were crocheted with Wencora Orange yarn. I love the color of them, they really pop! I think these would look great under a nice flower vase or table centerpiece too. What do you think?

I to crochet… it’s very peaceful. I don’t have much time for it right now but sooner than later the birdies will be out of the nest and I’ll have more time.

I have one birdy and my only time to crochet is when she is fast asleep. Her naps though are getting shorter and shorter. Maybe one day when she gets older I can teach her and we can do it together. Thanks for stopping by Mona and have a great weekend!

I'd love to hear what you think!
