Please welcome Donna…the crafty hands behind Layans Shop on Etsy!
“I’ve been crocheting for over 50 years and just love it! My shop is named after my first and only (at the moment) grandchild (Layan)–my heart, my soul, my inspiration. Before she was born I crocheted her many outfits and have sold many. I just love seeing babies wearing the items I have made. My favorite things to crochet are baby clothing–booties, hats, blankets, bibs, and especially dresses using fine thread. The more challenging the pattern is, the more I like it.”
Check out just some of her adorable items below!
These adorable “loopy” baby shoes/booties are hand-crocheted using 100% acrylic yarn. The sole of the booties are done in blue and pink. The top portion of each bootie opens with two buttons–blue for boys, pink for girls. The booties are sold as a pair (of course!). The booties measure approximately 3-1/2″ at the sole which is intended for a NB-3 month old. These make the most PERFECT baby shower gift or a wonderful, thoughtful gift from a grandparent!

A pink ribbon runs through the bottom in which to tie into a bow under the baby’s chin. The scalloped-top booties have the same ribbon running at the top of the foot in which to tie into a bow, as well as a pink ribbon flower on top of each. This is sure to be an heirloom to hand down through the generations.
