Finished Crochet Project – Simple Head Wrap

Another great new crochet site that I found: Lullabies and Lace. I love her site! It has a Victorian look to it. There are tons of patterns on there as well as some free ones. I tried her Free Simple Head Wrap Pattern. The pattern is easy to follow and quick to work up. It uses size 3 crochet cotton thread. I don’t use crochet thread very often so I had to get used to how thin it is first. Once I got the hand of it, it was a breeze. Check it out:

Gotta love my self-taken pictures, sorry, the best I can do. I really like the way it looks but I think it would look better on a person with longer hair. I don’t think it looks right with short hair. What do you think? I have the button on the back for closure but I can also do 2 strings for ties if you would prefer that. I made this one for a toddler with ties. This is the best picture I have since my daughter wouldn’t wear it.

Which one do you like better?
