BEFORE STARTING
 
Size: Adult/Teen – one size
Finished Measurements: 10” around and 5” tall. Will stretch depending on the yarn you use. I used a sock type yarn and mine stretched to 13” around.
Difficulty: Easy
Yarn: (2) Fine/Sport/Baby
Hook size: F (3.75mm) – or hook needed to obtain gauge
Notions: stitch markers, yarn needle & scissors.
Gauge: 19 dc & 9 rows = 4” square

ABBREVIATIONS
Ch                               chain
Sl st                             Slip stitch
St                                 Stitch
Dc                               Double crochet
Bpdc                           Back post double crochet
Fpdc                            Front post double crochet

INSTRUCTIONS
Notes
These boot cuffs are worked in the round. Do not turn. Ch 2 does not count as a stitch.

Make 2
Ch 44 loosely.
Making sure not to twist the chain join to the first ch to make a circle.
Round 1: Ch 2, dc in same ch and each ch around. Join to first dc.
Round 2: Ch 2, dc in same stitch, *bpdc in next, dc in next. Repeat from * around. Join to first dc.
Round 3: Ch 2, dc in same stitch, *fpdc in next, dc in next. Repeat from * around. Join to first dc.
Round 4-12: Repeat Round 2 & 3.
Fasten off and sew in loose ends.
