I don’t know about you but my 2 and half-year old daughter is afraid of the dark. In her bedroom all the drapes are closed so it is always darker than the rest of the house. Whenever she wants to go in her room to grab a toy or book, she calls for me to turn on the light. Well…I have a found a product that will make my daughter that much more independent by helping her to turn the light off and on all by herself. Not to mention, that this will probably save us a ton on our electric bills since most of the time I just end up leaving the light in her bedroom on all day. What can I say? Mommies get tired of going up and down stairs.

KidSwitch is a glow-in-the-dark light switch extender for children. This item is simple, easy to install and works just as it says it does.

No longer will kids be climbing on toys or furniture to try to reach the light switch by themselves. Since it glows in the dark, children will always know where the light switch is and can turn it on all by themselves when they get scared at night or even if they have to use the bathroom. You probably don’t need that night-light in your bathroom anymore since your child will be able to turn the light on all by themselves. What is better than a smiling child that knows they accomplished something all by themselves!

MY REVIEW

The KidSwitch comes with everything you need: the KidSwitch and 2 screws. What you do is remove the 2 screws that are holding the switch plate on and replace them with the 2 screws provided while attaching the KidSwitch. It is super easy and I was able to do it all by myself…hubbies are not needed. Took me a couple of minutes. Once it was on, I let Abby figure it out all by herself. She knew exactly what to do. She pushed it up to turn the light on, grabbed it and pulled it down to turn the light off. Voila! She was so happy with herself that we had to clap for 5 minutes…lol. All in all – AWESOME!
