When we purchased our home in TN the 1st floor was all hardwood and the 2nd floor was all carpet. We decided that we wanted to have all the carpet removed on the 2nd floor and replaced with laminate wood flooring. We hoped that we could get the flooring installed before we moved in. With us being in TX then it was hard to figure everything out but Lumber Liquidators and Grayson Homes helped us out with the whole process and took really good care of us.
We purchased the laminate flooring from Lumber Liquidators. Grayson Homes picked up the flooring for us and delivered it to our new home. This was before we actually owned the home but the previous owners were nice enough to let us store the new flooring in the house so it could acclimate. They day after we closed on the house and officially became the new owners Grayson Homes immediately got to work. They were left a key so that they could get into the house. By the time we arrived which was around 2 in the afternoon they had almost all the carpet ripped out and were already starting to lay the new flooring in some of the upstairs rooms.
The next day they arrived early and were done by 5 PM. In 2 days they ripped out all the carpet and padding, installed the new laminate flooring and installed new doorway and quarter round moldings. Amazing job!
Here are some before pictures with the carpet:
Here are the after pictures with the new Laminate Flooring from Lumber Liquidators installed by Grayson Homes:
The flooring is all the same throughout the 2nd floor. The color looks different in the pictures because of the lighting.
We are also working with Grayson Homes to update our Front Door and to have a fence installed around our backyard. Not sure if these projects will be completed this year or next but I will make sure to share pictures. We are very happy with our new flooring and I highly recommend Grayson Homes for any home remodeling projects!I have not received any compensation for writing this post.
