Review & Giveaway: Howard B. Wigglebottom – CLOSED

In this book, Howard B. Wigglebottom learns that it is very easy to lie but he also learned that when he lied he hurt people’s feelings and he felt bad about himself. This book is a great teaching tool for children ages 4 thru 8 to learn about lying and why not to do it. Howard lies about all sorts of things that children this age can relate to so the topics will be easy for the children to talk about as well.

You can find the book and all other Howard B. Wigglebottom hardcover books for sale on The We Do Listen Foundation website. They are sold for $15 at most retailers but on their website you can purchase the books for $6 each or $50 for all 10 books. On their website you can also find animated books, songs, games and you can create your own book to print.

I like the Howard B. Wigglebottom books because they are simple and young children can relate. My daughter is only 3 but we read the Howard B. Wigglebottom books to her and talk to her about the lessons to learn from each book. When she does something that Howard has done in one of his books we bring up the Howard books and ask her if Howard would do that and she remembers the lesson.
