Review: Keurig Office Pro Coffee Maker #thatwaseasy

Can I just say that I love Staples! There is one just 10 minutes away on Lake Worth Blvd. (in Lake Worth, TX) where I go to stock up on paper, ink and everything else office and school related. I get their flyers in the mail and their email newsletter as they are always running great deals and offers. They really do make it very easy. Check out Staples on Facebook and Twitter for more updates.

Thank you very much to Staples for choosing me to review a couple of their products. They sent me a Keurig OfficePRO Single-Cup Commercial Coffee Brewer and a box of Starbucks Breakfast Blend K-Cups.

The box was gigantic! I didn’t realize it would be so big. I couldn’t wait to break it open though. When I opened the Keurig box I was surprised to find out that it came with a 12-pack of different K-Cups. That is a great way to try out all the different varieties of coffee and tea until you find the one that you want to stick with.

Of course, once I got it out of the box I had to take it all apart and see what opened, what came off, etc. I looked in every nook and cranny and explored every button.

The display on the top is very easy to read and comprehend. You can move the knob to select the size cup of coffee you would like to make. The smaller the cup the stronger the brew. A light will come on when it is low on water, when it needs to be descaled or when the heater is running. There is also a button that you can use to drain the remaining water in the brewer. This is especially helpful when you are cleaning it, descaling the brewer or moving it. You can also set the Auto-Off to save energy. When the Auto-Off is turned on the brewer will automatically turn off after 2 hours of no use.

The water reservoir is removable for easy filling and holds 48 ounces of water. The drip tray is removable as well so that you can brew directly into taller coffee mugs or travel cups.

I filled up the water reservoir and turned it on to make my first cup of coffee. I was very excited. Within a couple of minutes it was ready to go so I put one of the Starbucks Breakfast Blend K-Cups in and closed the top. I turned the dial to make a 6 oz. cup of joe and hit Brew. 30 seconds later I have a steaming cup of coffee ready to drink and the brewer is ready to make another cup. (BTW – the Starbucks breakfast blend is great. Light tasting but strong enough to bring in the new day.)

The Keurig® OfficePRO® Brewing System retails for $129.99 on Staples.com. It comes with Free Shipping and if you place your order before 10/27/12 you can also qualify to get a $25 Staples Gift Card (to use on a future purchase). Compared to the prices on Keurig.com and Amazon.com – Staples has the best deal!

Thanks again Staples! Do you have a Keurig coffee brewer? How do you like it?
