Thank you very much to Levenger for sending me the Circa smartPlanner to review!
I am very much into organization. Not only does that apply to my home but also to my life. I have 2 planners that I use on a daily basis. One is for my blog and the other is for my personal life. Not only do I use the planners but I also log any important dates that I have to remember into my Google Calendar online so that I get notifications on my phone and laptop. Even though I could do everything online I don’t want to. For me having a physical planner to write stuff into is very important. Most of the stuff I keep in my online calender I add and then forget about it until I get the notification. If I am working on a project for my blog or if I am planning a party I rely on my planner to keep me on track.
The Circa smartPlanner Master Agenda is the most detailed planner that I have ever come across. The smartPlanner retails for $39.00. It comes with the basics: Monthly Planner, Weekly Planner and a sheet showing the previous and upcoming years.
But you also have the ability to add different “apps” to your planner. When you purchase the 2014 smartPlanner it comes with an app sampler which includes 3 pages of the 9 different apps that Circa offers.
The Travel Tamer helps to keep information for all upcoming trips in one place. This is especially helpful if you have a spouse that travels for work (like me). I can ask him to fill out the pertinent information and that way if anything happens while he is gone and I cannot reach him on his cell phone I know where I could look for him.
The Scheduler is where you can list daily plans or appointments for up to 5 people. I plan on using the scheduler as a menu tracker!
To Do List – write what you need to do and number them. Date the top and check off the page when everything is complete.
Keep & Share – write what you need to do and write what someone else needs to do . Rip it out and share the love! Great to use when loaning items, sending people on errands or making a honey-to-do list.
There is also apps for Lists, Doodles, Contacts, Meeting Notes & Ideation Station (not pictured) all of which are pretty much self-explanatory minus the Ideation Station.
The Ideation Station is pretty much what it sounds like. You use this app to come up with ideas on how to solve challenges using what looks like thought bubbles. Pretty neat.
The smartPlanner also comes with some extra pages to write down more notes, a place to keep track of Birthdays & Anniversaries and a page to write down all your important information. The apps can be added to the smartPlanner by just pushing them onto the rings. They can be added anywhere into your planner so you can easily add them into your calendar as well.
This is the KING of planners! I can combine my blog and personal planners into 1 and still keep everything organized. I no longer need different notebooks to keep track of everything. To have it all in one place is just so easy. Do you have a lot going on in your life?
