Ribbon Retreat Giveaway Winnings and Review

I have not received any compensation for writing/publishing this post. I have no material connection to the brands, products, or services that I have mentioned.

Last month, I won the Ribbon Retreat Giveaway from the Nap Time Crafters blog. I won a $40 gift certificate to be used at The Ribbon Retreat. They have some very cute stuff on there and I was going to make the attempt to create some bows for my daughter. But life got in the way and learning a new craft was just something I didn’t want to delve into at the moment. So I gave my winnings to a friend who actually has experience making bows and told her to let me know how they turned out.

This is what she said:
Shipping was fast, but expensive you couldn’t choose a slower shipping to reduce cost. Quality is good, I will order again, but I am hating the whole not coming on a spool, it slows down my ability to make things faster. I also don’t like that I can’t order some of the cuter ribbons on the wholesale site, all the really good stuff is on retail site and retail priced.”

Here is a picture of everything she ordered and what she made:

Are these not the cutest bows and the most beautiful little girl you have seen?

You can also visit The Ribbon Retreat Blog to see some of their creations. Thank you to the Nap Time Crafters blog and The Ribbon Retreat for this awesome giveaway. Huge Thank you to my friend for taking the time to create all these wonderful bows and to help me with the post!!!

Do you order your craft supplies online? If so, what experiences have you had and what are your favorite shops? I am always looking for great online yarn shops if anyone knows of any.

I'd love to hear what you think!
