I actually hate to shop for clothes for myself. When I shop in stores almost everything catches my eye but once I try them on they never really look the way I thought they would. The fit is never right. I am short (5’2) but I hate to shop in the Petite section since they never fit right either. Most of my clothing shopping now I tend to do online. If it doesn’t fit right I can just ship it back and try something else. But when I do find a place that the clothing fits right I tend to stick with them.

This is the case with eShakti. I found them on a fashion blog (can’t really remember which one but it was a review & giveaway post). I entered the review but I also visited their website and fell in love with their dresses. I think the website is relatively new because if you sign up for their email newsletter they will send you a gift code for $25 off your order. They do not lie either. I signed up and within minutes I had the gift code in my inbox. The best way to get me to shop is to offer me a gift code for anything. I immediately went back to the eShakti website and bought a dress. Actually the same dress that the blogger reviewed in the post that I saw. I bought the Retro poplin shirtdress (STYLE # CL0025769). The dress cost $59.95 with $9.95 shipping but with my $25 credit the total came to $44.90. Can’t beat that!

Before I forget all of the clothing sold on eShakti is custom-made (minus the Overstock and Sale items). You select the style, color option (if available, your size and tell them your height (this is key!). You can also customize your order even more by changing the length, sleeve type, etc. On your first order special customization is FREE after that it starts at $7.50. For my order I did not do any special customizations.

Here are some pictures of my new dress!

Sorry for the weird angles but I took the pictures myself putting my camera on a timer. But the dress looks good right? The fit is amazing. The length is perfect, the waist is not too tight or too loose. The bust is not too large and there are pockets! I love it. I love it so much that I went back to eShakti to buy more dresses!

eShakti sent me an email letting me know that my order was shipped and gave me another gift code for $20 (not because I was a blogger or anything – I am pretty sure they do it for all their customers). Their Mother’s Day Sale (expires 4/25/13) gives you $10 off when you buy 1 item, $20 off when yo buy 2 and $40 when you buy 3. You can also find eShakti Promo Codes by searching online. For 3 dresses – I paid only $104.84. 2 dresses were $59.95 and 1 dress was $49.96. I saved a total of $41.96.

eShakti shocked me even more by sending me another gift code for $10 after I completed feedback for my last order. I haven’t used that gift code yet but I will be soon. Once I get the 3 new dresses I just ordered I will share some pictures with you. Have you shopped at eShakti before?
