Repurposed furniture and home decor is very popular now. We have a traditional, simple-is-more theme in our home. I love repurposed pieces but I am very picky about what I buy. I don’t change my home decor around ever. Buying new pieces is pretty much a once or twice a year thing. When I do buy new pieces to decorate my home I want them to last and to be able to coordinate them with what I already have. I came across a shop on Etsy that had some pieces that really caught my eye. They are simple yet eye-catching and will match almost any style or theme your home has.

Tipsy Oak sells handcrafted wood furniture and home decor. Owners and Designers, Vinnie and Jess, use repurposed wood to create beautiful, unique furniture and décor pieces. Their work pulls inspirations from many different eras of architecture and design with a very unique artful finish. They like to collaborate a little mid-century, rustic and a hint of modern qualities into each design, but it’s also the hand-painted colorization and contrast play that really gives Tipsy Oak it’s unique trademark look!

Take a look at this Light Golden Herringbone Dining Table. You can tell that this table took a lot of time and hard work to put together. This unique and original design dining table has a beautiful herringbone pattern made of a mix of red, pine and common wood that is both hand-crafted and hand-painted. Each piece of wood is selected to create contrast within the table then hand-painted to enhance the unique design with streaks of contrast.

If you are looking for something a bit smaller they also have this Light Golden Herringbone Reclaimed Wood Living Room Coffee Table. This table is available in 3 different sizes. You can also choose between 2 different color hairpin legs. The table is a light golden color with hints of light turquoise and grey.

Coasters make a wonderful gift and in my home they are a necessity. I probably have more coasters than I have cups! This Set of 4, Walnut and Maple Inlay Wood Coasters are gorgeous and I have happily added it to my Christmas Wish List. Tipsy Oak’s coasters are completely handmade. They select, cut, sand, stain, seal all of their wood pieces by hand in their little shop in Phoenix, AZ. The coasters are clear coated to protect and seal. They also include felt bumpers on the bottom to protect furniture.

This is just funny. Home is where you Poop sign.

I am such a fan of anything that deals with organization. This Southwest Entryway Storage Cubby is on my shopping list. I have a certain family member that would love it!

The last piece I want to share with you I just adore because of its simplicity. The lines, the angles, I don’t know exactly what it is about this piece but I do know that it is calling my name! Art Deco Line Wall Art

So tell me…would any of these pieces fit into the style and theme you have in your home? Which one is your favorite?

I'd love to hear what you think!
