Founded in 1981, WaterAid transforms lives by helping the world’s poorest people gain access to safe water and sanitation. Together with local organizations, communities and individuals, WaterAid uses affordable and locally appropriate solutions to provide safe water, effective sanitation and hygiene education to people in developing countries.
A human can survive for a month or more without eating food, but only a week or so without drinking water. – From http://www.waterinfo.org/resources/water-facts.
Everyone should have clean water. WaterAid is doing its best to help the people of Africa, Asia & Central America get access to clean water. Water that is clear. Water that won’t make them sick and water that they won’t have to walk 3-4 miles one way to get. Some times we take for granted the small things. The fact that we can turn a faucet and clean water comes out. The fact that we can go to the store and buy bottled water. Everyone should have access to clean water and WaterAid is helping to make sure that everyone does.
