Don’t you hate it when you are working on a project and run out of yarn? For me it is the worst thing that could happen. While I was working on a custom crochet tunic for a custom order I managed to have this happen to me. At the time I thought it was the end of the world because this specific yarn I purchase at Hobby Lobby and they no longer carry the color I need. I couldn’t find this yarn for sale anywhere on-line except for Creative Yarn Source. This website was the only online store that I found that carried the yarn I needed. Thank goodness!
The yarn I needed was Omega Rustica Eclat in Lilac/Silver. Since I wanted to be sure that I wouldn’t run out of yarn again I ordered 3 balls. The 3 balls of yarn cost $26.50 and shipping was $7.50. I know that the shipping sounds expensive but the way this yarn is rolled makes it quite large so the shipping cost is very reasonable. Plus it was sent priority mail so I received it only 2 business days after it was sent.
This is a picture of the yarn once it was out of the box.
This is a picture of the completed tunic I crocheted using the yarn. I have this crochet pattern for FREE and you can find it here: http://thesteadyhandblog.com/free-crochet-pattern-4t-crochet-tunic/.
Creative Yarn Source has a very nice selection of yarn especially yarn that is hard-to-find. I would definitely order from them again!
I was not compensated in any way for this post. The opinions are all my own. Thanks!
